Chateau Thoreau is a modern rustic farmhouse-style luxury retreat perched on a bluff in the Woodland Hills neighborhood. This 2-bedroom, 3-1/2 bathroom plus game room loft and bunk room cabin is over 2,600 sq-ft with 150 year old reclaimed pine hardwood floors, natural shiplap interior, rustic furnishings, and touches of the cabin's namesake throughout. The cabin is located minutes from Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, as well as the town of Broken Bow with access to grocery and convenience stores.

Master Bedroom & Bathroom #1 (sleeps 2) - The first master bedroom features a king bed, two nightstands, dresser, Smart TV, custom reading nook with books provided, and private balcony with rocking chairs. The spacious en suite bathroom offers a double vanity, walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, soaking tub, and a private water closet.

Master Bedroom & Bathroom #2 (sleeps 2) - The second master bedroom features a king bed, two nightstands, dresser, Smart TV, and private access to the back deck. The spacious en suite bathroom offers a double vanity, walk-in shower, and a private water closet.

Upstairs Game Loft & Bunk Room (sleeps 8) - Take a walk up the stairs to find a perfect space for the kids or a fun gathering place for family game night. The loft features a shuffleboard table, stand-up arcade machine, poker table, Smart TV, and a full bath with single vanity and tub/shower combo. Take a walk into the bunk room to find two queen-over-queen plush top mattress bunk beds that makes the perfect sleeping area for kids or adults. The bunk room also has private access to the second floor balcony.

Indoor Living - Open floorplan with custom antler chandelier, Smart TV, rustic farmhouse décor with, indoor gas fireplace, leather sofa and love seat, two reclining chairs, dining table with seating for 9, barstool seating for 4, and a cabinet with a selection of games. There is also a half bath and a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.

Outdoor Living - The nearly wrap-around deck is an extension of entertaining overlooking beautiful evening sunsets. The main entertaining space includes an outdoor seating and dining area, gas grill, outdoor gas fireplace, Smart TV, and a hot tub. Head down the staircase for a little nighttime stargazing on this large, private lot or warm up by the wood-burning fire pit while roasting marshmallows. You may even enjoy playing a game of corn hole or horseshoes.

Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare and eat meals during your stay. In the kitchen you will find stainless steel appliances, gas stovetop, island with barstool seating for 4, Keurig dual coffee maker, blender, full knife set, crock pot, hand mixer, toaster, ice maker, drinkware, flatware, and dishware.

General Information - This cabin is not suitable for pets. We appreciate your understanding. YouTube TV streaming service available for guest use. The cabin's circle drive provides ample space for boat parking if you're looking to spend a little time on Broken Bow Lake. Please also note that this property uses exterior surveillance cameras facing away from and monitoring activity approaching the cabin's entrances. Gas fireplaces are seasonally available (October-April). Maximum occupancy for this cabin is 13, no exceptions.
